the hiking club

This hiking club provides teenagers the opportunity to explore nature, practice mindfulness, and connect with peers. Hikes will generally occur on Saturday afternoons at different nature parks in central Indiana. Hikes will be approximately 2 to 3 miles on unpaved trails, easy to moderate intensity, and 1.5 hours long. Each hiking session will be dog friendly, and we encourage participants to bring their dogs (Dogs must be well socialized and leashed at all times). Hikes will be led by Katrina Stewart, a certified holistic health coach and former high school teacher. Additional adult supervision will be provided by board members of The Chris Center, Inc.
