The Hiking Club

This hiking club provides teenagers the opportunity to explore nature, practice mindfulness, and connect with peers. Hikes will generally occur on Sunday afternoons at different nature parks in central Indiana. Hikes will be approximately 2 to 3 miles on unpaved trails, easy to moderate intensity, and 1.5 to 2 hours long. Each hiking session will include dedicated time for a reflective activity such as sketching, journaling, or photography. Hikes will be led by Katrina Stewart, a certified holistic health coach and former high school teacher. Additional adult supervision will be provided by board members of The Chris Center, Inc.

Hiking

The teen hiking club is open to adolescents ages 12 to 19 years old.
